Established in 1999, Seballos Pastries is the result of years of work in the fine pastry field by Pastry Chef Ron Seballos. Prior to starting his wholesale pastry business in a small kitchen at Bratenahl Place, Ron found a niche in the baking business in Columbus Ohio at The Great Southern Hotel . As a self taught pastry chef at the Refectory Restaurant, Ron decided to further educate himself about the art of pastries, and attended a Baking and Pastry program at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park , NY. After spending time working in West Virginia at the Greenbrier Hotel and Resort, and Caesars in Atlantic City, Ron returned to his boyhood town of Cleveland. Spending close to 7 years as Pastry Chef at restaurant Piccolo Mondo, as well as The Shoreby Club and Restaurant Giovannis, Ron decided it was time to pursue his ambition of owning his own business. Thus Seballos Pastries was established. Servicing a large number of high end restaurants as well as catering companies and a number of large venues, Ron has made himself well known in the business by working hard and staying focused on one goal: providing fine fresh, made from scratch pastries to the greater Cleveland area . Ron, along with his wife Julie, operates Seballos Pastries out of a shop in Cleveland.
